Vaidilos Theatre – luxury at your fingertips!
The building is located in the centre of Vilnius, near Gediminas Avenue, and has a long and interesting history. The house built in the 19th century and features the exceptional Neo-Gothic architecture typical of the style of the churches of that time. There were just a few houses at A. Jakšto Street at that time. The first inhabitant of this house was its architect M. Prozorov with his family, owning 14 rooms, and the rest of the premises were rented to the railway club, shops and apartments. Later, the hall of this historic building, the current Vaidilos Theatre, hosted meetings of intellectuals and theatrical performances, and in 1905, the famous Lithuanian play America in the Bathhouse was performed.
The building was damaged during the Second World War, but later restored. In 2015 Vaidilos Theatre was restored and the evening party of its revival took place in October.
Presently, the beauty of A. Jakšto 9 building is emphasised by an inner courtyard, luxury hotels and restaurants in the vicinity, ministries and other state institutions of Lithuania.
The building is proud of the hall named after Vaidilos Theatre with exceptional historical flavour providing an authentic background and unforgettable emotions for a variety of celebrations, parties, conferences, concerts or filming. The spacious hall with auxiliary facilities offers exceptional opportunities for private events, weddings and banquets, conferences, seminars, concerts, fashion shows, photo sessions and other celebrations and functions.
Once you enter the building, you will be welcomed by open gallery spaces that are perfect for presenting and exhibiting photos, paintings and other artistic works.
Implement your dreams at Vaidilos Theatre!
